Drawing Challenge leaves / Blätter
When autumn starts I have to collect leaves – it is every year the same thing. I love their different forms and wonderful colours.To draw them, to dry them or just to arrange them somewhere.
For todays drawing challenge I have planned to do some collages with some different materials.
So I cut out and punched leaves from vintage books – I will show you tomorrow what happened to all the things…

fall is my favorite season. autumns warm colors, a softer time of year.
What a joy to see the teasing magical leaves you have made Sabine. I am so excited to see what becomes of them. To quote Arnie “I’ll be baaaaaaack!” Loved this theme tons. I wish I had all of the time in the world because I could explore this theme for a month of Sundays. I want to paint them so badly. Maybe I’ll steal some time and do that. How is it that, when walking on a carpet of leaves, where there are thousands of them laying on the ground in a colourful pattern of nature, that ONE leaf and one leaf only, calls to you. So it gets picked up and lovingly placed in the pocket. I’m finding them crumpled in my purse and book bag and pockets of every jacket I own. Sadly, the colors don’t last so I need to paint them immediately. Well, see you soon, hugs, Norma, x

Schön ist es, das so leicht hingeworfene Kastanienblatt in Aquarell. Girlanden… hängen hier auch, aus Eiche und Felsenbirne.

Liebe Sabine, nach einem wunderschönen Herbstwochenende komme ich jetzt erst dazu mich durch deinen Blätterwald zu klicken. Es lohnt doch immer wieder mal in alte Skizzenbücher zu gucken! Danke für das nette Thema und deine schöne Umsetzung der Buchblätter!

Ich habe deinen Blog jetzt erst entdeckt. Deine Idee finde ich so inspirierend, dass ich später weiterlesen werde bei dir.
Außerdem möchte ich rauskriegen, wie du die Blätter ausschneidest. Vor Jahren hatte ich mich mal mit entsprechenden Werkzeugen/Maschinen beschäftigt, doch aufgrund eines Interessen-Overloads sein gelassen.
Einen Blätter-Post hatte ich für heute sowieso vor. Er passt hier wohl rein, drum ist hier der Link:
