This is a „thank you“ for our little house spider, which catches all mosquitoes for us, as my daughter told me. I remered this when I saw Renildes drawing challenge theme „spider“ for this week.

Ich wünschte unsere Spinnen wären so erfolgreich. Ich gewähre Ihnen freundlicherweise Asyl, damit sie die Mücken fressen, aber bisher haben die Mücken die Oberhand und ich muß selbst handgreiflich werden, bin nicht so sicher, ob die Spinnen mir das übel nehmen. Aber da ich die Lieblingsspeise von Mücken bin, kann ich nicht anders.
Schönes Bild, die Farben sind toll und die Kombination von Malerei und Comic!

why, yes, of course, spiders have a good reason for existing, as long as they keep out of my way (and view), because i positively freak out… umpffff. no trouble with mice, of which we just put one outside last night, but spiders…. :)))
