Ich liebe es „Second Hand“ zu kaufen…auf Flohmärkten, Bücherbasaren oder im Sozialkaufhaus – dort finde ich oft tolles Material für meine Collagen.
I really love to buy vintage things „second hand“ on fleamarkets, book bazaars and at the social store, especially material for my collages.
Die beiden Vogelcollagen habe ich aus diesen wunderbaren Hochglanz Kochkarten für leichte kalte Abendessen und dem Vogelbuch gemacht.
I made the two bird collages on these wonderful high gloss vintage receipt cards for light cold dinners.
Die Rezepte sind eher etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig für mich, hier zum Beispiel Käsesoufflé „Boris“…also eher als Collageuntergründe geeignet. Mal sehen, was aus den anderen wird.
The receipts take getting use for me…here something like cheesesoufflé „Boris“…could be more useful as collage backgrounds…I will see what happens with the other cards.

your scrabble board is absolutely fascinating, what an imaginary transformation. i like the before and after effect as well, i am always so scared to start a collage, you know? i always get this fear about messing up a perfectly vintaged item, all while the result with the birds is so convincing. lovely! n♥
The combination food, birds and scrabble. Big surprise, it makes me smile. The words: Leichte kalte Abendessen is an unexpected also the word Herzklopfen. That works in different ways, because of the food? Because of the theme? Your interpretation is creative, it’s great. xj
Brilliant! Now I want to find an old scrabble board and paint something on it. I must admit that my German is so rusty I had to look up the word Herzklopfen. Great addition! :D

Sehr schöne 2nd Hand Collagen sind das! Und diese alten Rezepte finde ich auch meist nicht nicht ganz so appetitlich, dafür umso skurriler, um sie zu verarbeiten! ;-)
